I am a postdoctoral fellow working with Dr. Amber L. Simpson in the Department of Surgery, MSKCC since May 2015. My current research is focused on the early detection, diagnosis, and prognostication of pancreatic and liver cancers via quantitative analysis of clinical CT imaging with the help of different advanced machine learning techniques. Prior to joining MSKCC, my major interest was to develop computer-aided methods for the early detection of breast cancer. I served as an assistant professor at National Institute of Technology Silchar, India during March, 2013-May, 2015 after receiving my Ph.D. in Electronics and Electrical Communication Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur in 2013. My research area includes biomedical image analysis, computer vision, machine learning, precision medicine, survival analysis, stochastic optimization algorithms, etc.
