Profile:

Dr. D’Angelica is an Attending Surgeon in the Hepatopancreatobiliary Service in the Department of Surgery at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. He holds the Enid A. Haupt Chair in Surgery and serves as Vice Chair of the MSK Research Council, which oversees all high-risk research protocols throughout the hospital. In addition, he is the Program Director for two prestigious training fellowships, in Surgical Oncology and Hepatopancreatobiliary Surgery. Externally, he is Vice Chair of the National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) panel on Clinical Practice Guidelines in Hepatobiliary Cancers to help shape and write these treatment guidelines that are today followed in the US and much of the world.
